England Women’s European League Report...

The England Beach Soccer Women’s team recently embarked on an exciting European league tour in Nazaré, Portugal. This tour marked a significant chapter for the team, featuring a fresh lineup with 50% of the squad making their debut.

Among the new faces were Sara Catriona, Karima Elouath, Chloe Fisher, Jazz Povey and Ellie Parker.

Chloe Fisher, a former Manchester United and Everton player, transitioned to beach soccer after showcasing her skills in the Euro Winners Club Cup for the Isle of Wight during the summer. Fisher made an immediate impact, scoring all three of England’s goals across the three matches.

Despite the team’s spirited efforts, the results were challenging:

Game 1: Portugal 5-1 England (Goal by Chloe Fisher)

Game 2: Poland 5-1 England (Goal by Chloe Fisher)

Game 3: Ukraine 4-1 England (Goal by Chloe Fisher)

England Coach Steve Black thanked sponsors Victorious Festival for their kind financial support over the past two season and added that the tour was a valuable experience for the new-look England team, providing them with crucial exposure and the opportunity to build chemistry on the sand.

Chloe Fisher’s impressive performance as a debutant highlights her potential to become a key player in the team’s future endeavors.

The England Beach Soccer Women’s team remains optimistic, focusing on growth and development as they continue to adapt to the dynamic and fast-paced nature of beach soccer.
