The FA and the British Olympic Association have formally approved England Beach Soccer to represent TEAM GB at the forth coming ANOC World Beach Games in Bali later this year after the England women's team qualified as Champions for the games as England via the European Qualifier Championships back in the summer of 2022, despite qualification approval still had to be granted via the various governing bodies in the UK with the BOA and in England with the FA along with the Association of National Olympic Committees.
Luke Kerr Director at England Beach Soccer commented to say "After months of dialogue we're delighted that our high performing women's team have been granted the honour to represent TEAM GB at the world beach games, this is not the first time our women's team have attended the world beach games, last time round the team came away with silver medals in 2019 and now we hope to go one step further with some new additions to the team in recent years we fully expect the team to be competing for gold in Bali and preparations start now as we build into another year of beach soccer and growth across our national teams and emerging talent youth pathways"
